Bride and Groom Kissing Portrait, Towson, Maryland

On a lovely afternoon in Maryland, the vibrant bride and groom stood outside of Towson Presbyterian Church’s elegant doorway. As they stood before the church doors, I thought it was a great opportunity for me to capture them relaxing and having fun together as they enjoyed their first few moments as a married couple. This romantic wedding portrait captures how the groom was unable to suppress his joy -- so eager was he to embrace and kiss his bride. His action caused her to smile radiantly. They are a sweet and beautiful couple and I really enjoyed photographing their wedding. His dark hair and tuxedo along with her lacy wedding dress, styled hair, and bright lipstick were all beautifully combined to create their classy appearance. As is my custom, I like to capture a mix of both delightfully candid portraits, like this one, and elegantly posed ones. Because these un-posed wedding photographs most beautifully capture the romantic and natural expressions of the bride and groom, they become some of my clients’ favorite portraits. I also enjoy taking portraits both before and after the wedding ceremony so that I can capture how the couple’s emotions of nervousness and anticipation gradually are replaced by excitement and joy throughout their wonderful day. The Towson Presbyterian Church in Maryland was a beautiful location for the wedding ceremony. Its grand stone masonry, colorful stained-glass windows, and vibrant red doors made it an elegant and stately place to capture ceremony, family, and bridal portraits.
