Beautiful Autumn Bridal Portrait, Towson, MarylandHannah was all smiles on the morning of her wedding at Towson Presbyterian Church in Maryland. It was easy to see joy emanating from her as she excitedly awaited the coming ceremony. I took the bride around the church’s lawn to take advantage of its natural beauty. As is my custom, I like to capture a mix of both delightfully candid, and elegantly-posed bridal portraits. Hannah’s lacy wedding dress, styled hair, and bright lipstick were all beautifully combined to create her classy appearance. The relaxed nature of her pose with her hand on her side, her off-camera glance, and her natural smile collectively captured her fun and delightful personality. The leafy yellows and greens in the foliage behind the bride served as a beautiful collage of natural colors against which to place her. This collage changes from faded greens to vibrant yellows from the bottom of the portrait to the top. Thus, I used the vibrancy of the leaves around her face to draw attention to her smiling and radiant expression. The touch of red from her bouquet and lipstick also add a nice pop of color to this beautiful bridal portrait. The bride and groom always enjoy having photos like this one to add to their wedding album as these images help them remember the joy and romance of their special day. The Towson Presbyterian Church in Maryland was a beautiful location for the wedding ceremony. Its grand stone masonry, colorful stained-glass windows, and vivid red doors made it an elegant and stately place to capture ceremony, family, and bridal portraits.
